My 9-year-old's Top 5 Nintendo DS Games List

She wants to be just like me, when I can managed to call her in from the pool. We have a deal that she can get one new game a month. The fine print is that she must maintain at least a B (3.0) average in school, finish all her chores, not post anything inappropriate or personal online, and maintain overall good behavior. Not only has she always earned her game, but she's sometimes chosen to borrow one of my age-appropriate Nintendo DS games. (During the month that she is borrowing one of my games, it is considered hers so long as she doesn't lose it.) She asked me if she could share her Top 5 favorite DS games, so here it is!

Top 5 Nintendo DS games By a 9-year-old girl

1. Pokemon White
Why White instead of Black?
"Someone else had borrowed your copy of Black, so I only got to play White. Pokemon White is really different compared to all the others, even Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Pokemon White is awesome! I like all the new Pokemon, but Pachirisu is still my favorite. Does this mean I get to keep White now for myself? :P"

2. Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs
"All of them are good, but this one has the cute little Pichu with the tiny guitar on his back. Huh? Oh, a ukulele. Heh, that sounds funny! But Pichu plays it really well! He's like a super cute little Pikachu! Yeah, I know Pichu evolves into a Pikachu, that's why they look alike. I caught a Suicune recently! I really like that Pokemon too!"

3. Mario Kart DS
"It's so much fun to race! It's even more fun when playing with others through Download Play. Like how I always beat you with the red turtle shell! I like to practice alone so I can get better. Besides, who doesn't like Mario?!"

4. Nintendogs
"It's not as good as playing with a real dog, but it's better than picking up dog poop from the backyard! Plus, all the dogs are so cute! Hehe! So when are you going to buy Nintendogs + Cats for the 3DS and let me borrow it? I can't wait to see how they look in 3D! I love the 3D!"
Parental Note: My daughter does not own a 3DS. She only has a DS Lite and it is only marginally working correctly because of all the times she has dropped it. She is hoping that I will buy her a 3DS soon.

5. Disney Fairies: Tinkerbell
"I like Tinkerbell a lot. The game is really fun too! I like finding all the leaves, seeds, and things. I don't really care about making clothes or changing her outfit. The changing seasons is really pretty too! I'm really looking forward to getting the two other Tinkerbell games."
